Management hunts are a tool to help manage genetics. These are bulls that are usually 5x5

Trophy Elk

Our most popular hunt. Reasonably priced for the bull of almost anyone’s dreams. Trophy Elk hunts are usually a 6X6 or more.

Hunts target bulls up to 330”.

Upgrade Elk

Upgrade Elk hunts are for bulls from 330”-360”.

Upgrade+ Elk

Upgrade+ Elk hunts are for bulls from 361” and above.

Different size and age classes depending on why you're after North Americas largest game animal.

Included at the Spike Camp

Trip Length: Enjoy a five-day, four-night stay at our spike camp.

Essentials: Our western white-wall tents are equipped with wooden floors, cots, and heaters.

Meals and Dining: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be prepared by our camp cook with dutch-oven style meals.

Shower Facilities: Refresh after a day in the wilderness with access to a heated shower.

Considerations for Late-Year Hunting: Bring extra layered clothing, warm sleeping gear, thermal accessories, etc.

The Experience

Arrival and Welcome


Check in at our lodge: Begins typically around noon, following an airport pickup. You’ll be greeted by our staff and can settle into your accommodations while enjoying the scenic views of the ranch.

Orientation Meeting: Join the head guide for an orientation session to discuss your upcoming hunt, safety protocols, and other important details. This is also a perfect time to check your hunting equipment and firearms, ensuring everything is ready for the next day’s adventure.

A Typical Hunting Day

Early Morning: Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the lodge, fueling up for the day ahead.

Morning Hunt: Travel to the hunting grounds using your preferred mode of transport — ATV, hiking, or horseback. Your personal guide will lead you through the best spots for a successful hunt.

Midday Break: Return to the lodge for lunch and a brief break, then head back out for the afternoon session.

Afternoon Hunt: Continue your hunt with adjusted strategies to improve your chances of success.

Evening Return: After a fulfilling day, return to the lodge for dinner prepared by our chef, and share tales of the day’s adventures with fellow hunters.

Conclusion of the Hunt

At the end of your hunt, our team

  • Prepare your cape and antlers for taxidermy

  • Transport your carcass to a butcher of your choice or debone and quarter to a size reasonable to bring home.

* Meat packaging and direct shipping arrangements are selected by the hunter.

Check out is smooth and assisted by our friendly staff. We ensure that your departure is as welcoming as your arrival, with transportation back to the airport included.
